REACHBUTTON
Privacy information
Reach Button is operated by David Lalor, trading as Lalor’s Products & Training, of 26 Wrose Grove, Wrose, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD2 1PQ. David Lalor is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact ReachButton at support@reachbutton.com. This page explains what the current website collects and how it is used.
Early-access requests
The form collects your name, email address and, if you provide it, your website address. We store your request and email it to the ReachButton operator so they can review it and respond. We use these details to contact you about ReachButton early access, availability and pricing. We do not use the form as consent for unrelated marketing.
By requesting early access, you ask us to send these updates. We rely on your consent for early-access emails; you can withdraw it at any time using the contact address below.
Your account and purchases
Accounts store a sign-in email, a securely hashed password and the website settings you save. Password-reset emails are sent to the account’s email address. Sessions and reset links expire; reset links can be used once.
We use account information to provide the pilot service you request and to maintain its security.
New accounts confirm their email address before choosing a password. We retain an account trial record, website domain and trial activation date to prevent repeat trials. Purchases use PayPal. We store payment references, the website purchased and payment status; PayPal processes your payment details under its own privacy information. We do not store card details. Account data is used to provide the service; trial records help prevent abuse, and payment records support purchases and accounting. You can request account closure using the contact address above. Records needed for accounting or resolving a dispute may need to remain after closure.
The contact widget
Website settings contain the contact details you choose to display publicly. The widget opens your selected contact channels. It does not store the contents of your calls, emails or messages. If you follow a link to a separate service, that service handles the resulting interaction.
ReachButton Booking pilot
When you request an appointment, Booking stores your name, email address, phone number when required, appointment description, appointment address when applicable, chosen schedule, appointment type, requested time, meeting link and booking status. These details are used to arrange the appointment and send confirmations, reminders and cancellations. The business offering the appointment can access its own bookings.
When a business connects Google Calendar, we store encrypted access credentials, list calendars owned by the connected account, check busy times on the calendars selected for each schedule or shared resource, and create or cancel appointment events in the selected calendar. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising. The business can revoke access in its Google account settings and contact support to remove the saved connection. Booking records remain until removed through a support request; notification emails and backups may retain copies separately.
Free pilot invitations give the named recipient Booking access without requiring a payment. The connection process uses a short-lived cookie to verify the browser authorising Google access. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, and invitation links expire and can be used once.
Hosting, email and cookies
Our hosting and email services process information needed to operate the website and send emails. The server may record standard request information in hosting logs. The dashboard uses a session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. The current public website does not add advertising or analytics cookies.
Removing an early-access request
You can ask us to remove your details or stop early-access emails by contacting support@reachbutton.com. We review and remove database requests older than 12 months when the request list is accessed or a new request arrives. Notification emails and hosting backups may retain copies separately; contact us if you want your request removed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, and request restriction or portability where applicable. You can also object to processing where the right applies. Contact ReachButton using the email above. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Contact enquiries
When you use our contact form, we send your name, email address, optional website address and message to our support mailbox. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and keep relevant correspondence while it is needed for support or related obligations. Our support email may be forwarded to the operator’s email account. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or create a customer account.
